I began this work during the COVID-19 pandemic as a virtual project for trumpet and horn. It has morphed a bit through the years, and I feel it works best for trumpet and flugelhorn. I took inspiration from my days as a student as Spanish Fort High School, but I hope each player is able to interpret the meaning as something that is personal to their own lives.
